This Great Southern Land release features an Australia-shaped insert of blue lepidolite, a lithium-rich mineral whose sky-blue variety is found only in Western Australia.
The insert is surrounded by airborne Australian icons: a wedge-tailed eagle, kookaburra, splendid fairy wren, blue banded bee, birdwing butterfly, sugar glider, sulphur crested cockatoo and willie wagtail, set among native flora motifs. The reverse also includes The Perth Mint's 'P' mintmark, weight, purity and 2022 year-date. The obverse bears the Jody Clark effigy of H.M. Queen Elizabeth II.
Housed in a classic display case with clear lid, packaged in the illustrated shipper with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Please note the colour of the lepidolite insert varies from coin to coin.
